4th Annual SonoraFest coming this weekend to the Sierra Vista Mall!

From 10 AM on Saturday and Sunday, you can enjoy non-stop entertainment at SonoraFest 2022, at the Sierra Vista Mall. On stage at the Food Court — the Agua Prieta Chorus, Mariachi Nuevo Azteca, ranchera singer Carmelita Salcedo, singers Rafael Moran and , and — surprise! Opera singer Valeria Quijada Padilla with pianist Roberto Galvan Cardenas, plus La Catrina with salsa, merengue, and reggaeton… an all-star lineup absolutey free, no admission charge!

The opening ceremony on Saturday features the Agua Prieta Chorus who will sing both American & Mexican National Anthems, along with the Ballet Angeles de Agua Prieta. Sierra Vista Mayor Mueller will introduce Mexican Consul Ricardo Pineda Albarrán, who in turn will introduce representatives of the governments of both the State of Sonora and the government of Mexico, here to promote bi-national economic development and increased tourism. Also on both days, the central aisle at the Mall will display more than 50 vendors from Sonora. They will show unique gifts and handicrafts, and you’ll enjoy tempting classical Mexican food delicacies.
